The Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex is enormous, and its Mexican-American community anchors whole sections of it — Oak Cliff and Pleasant Grove on the Dallas side, the North Side in Fort Worth, and a fast-growing professional class spread across the suburbs. It is also a place where distance quietly eats your week. Between the two downtowns and the sprawl in every direction, a "quick" appointment can cost you ninety minutes in the car before you've said a word — which is exactly why so many people who need therapy here never start.
The clients I meet from DFW are often the ones holding the middle: the sandwich-generation daughter caring for aging parents and her own children at once, the working mother who is the emotional thermostat for an entire household, the person who is doing fine by everyone's measure except her own. What they don't have is time — and adding a cross-metroplex drive to a therapist would have made it impossible.
That's the case for doing this online. You keep the hour and skip the commute. You log on from home after the kids are down, or from a parked car on a lunch break, and no one has to know where you went. We work on low self-esteem, the residue of a past that still surfaces, grief that never got its turn, and the burnout of being the one everyone leans on. I draw on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and a holistic, client-centered approach — at your pace, and you decide what we touch and when.
For a bicultural family, there's a second reason online matters: you can do it in the language the feeling actually lives in, without hunting the metroplex for the rare Spanish-speaking therapist who also has an opening. I'm bilingual, and Spanish is my own language, not a translation.

The metroplex is huge — does it matter that you're based in Laredo, not Dallas or Fort Worth?
Not for our work. Everything is online, so where I sit doesn't change your care — it just means you don't drive. I'm licensed across Texas, which includes all of DFW.
I barely have time for myself — how do people fit this in?
Most of my DFW clients book the one hour they can protect and do it from home or the car. Skipping the drive is often what makes weekly therapy actually possible.
Can we do this in Spanish?
Completely — Spanish is my language, not a translation.
