Healing is an Art and We Can Reconstruct the Pieces Together
Warm, bilingual therapy for women who have been holding a lot for a long time — quietly carrying low self-esteem, a past that still surfaces, a marriage that ended, a loss you never got to grieve. In Laredo, Texas, and across the state by secure video.

Who I work with
Women who have held everything together for everyone else.
You’re usually the one who checks in on everyone else — the household, the kids, the parents, the work. What you have less practice with is being asked, honestly, how you are.
The women I meet often arrive tired in a way sleep doesn’t touch. I also work with teens, and with families whose daughters need a bilingual space of their own.
What we work with
The things that don’t leave quietly.

By secure video or in Laredo. We move at your pace. You don't need to arrive with the right words.
Where I practice
Rooted in Laredo, reaching all of Texas.
In-person sessions are held in Laredo. By secure video, I meet clients anywhere in Texas — from the Rio Grande Valley to Houston, San Antonio, Austin, Dallas, and El Paso.
You do need to be physically located in Texas at the time of session — a licensure rule, not a preference.

Se habla español
La terapia en tu idioma no es un lujo — es lo que hace posible que de verdad te escuchen.

$180 for a 60-minute session. And yes, the consultation is free.
I only bill self-pay — no insurance is filed. That is a deliberate choice, not a barrier: it keeps your records private, and it keeps your care between the two of us, not a claims reviewer.

Meet Maria
Warm, plain-spoken, and bilingual to her core.
I grew up on the Texas–Mexico border, and that’s not a bio detail — it’s the reason I do this work the way I do. On the border, women hold a lot, in two languages, and they very rarely put themselves on the list.
My style is warm and plain-spoken. The through-line of my work is helping families and individuals find their own light and motivation — and planting a seed of hope for the better life we all deserve.
Questions people ask first
Before you reach out.
Do you work with women only?
My practice centers women, but I also see teens. If you're wondering whether I'm the right fit, the free 15-minute consultation is the best place to find out — no pressure, no paperwork.
Is everything really in Spanish too?
Sí. I grew up on the Texas–Mexico border, and Spanish is not a translation for me — it's the language many of my clients feel most themselves in. Sessions run fully in English, fully in Spanish, or however feels natural for you.
Do I have to be in Laredo?
No. I meet clients across Texas by secure video. You do need to be physically located in Texas at the time of the session — that's a licensure rule, not a preference.
What if I've never done therapy before?
That's more common than you'd think. We move at your pace. The first session is mostly listening — you don't need to arrive with the right words or a tidy story.
When you’re ready — even quietly ready — I’m here.
