How do I get started?
Send the appointment-request form. We'll schedule a free 15-minute call so you can get a feel for me and I can hear what you're looking for. Nothing is committed until you decide it is.
Do you take insurance?
No. I'm self-pay only, which keeps your records private and your care between the two of us. If you have out-of-network benefits, I can provide a superbill for you to submit yourself.
Is a session really $180?
Yes — $180 for a 60-minute session. There are no add-ons. Cancellations with less than 6 hours' notice are billed $25.
What languages do you offer?
English and Spanish. Sessions can be fully in one, fully in the other, or in whatever mix feels most natural for you. Spanish is not a translation for me — I grew up on the border.
Can I see you in person?
In-person work is available in Laredo, Texas. Most clients across the rest of Texas see me by secure video.
Do you see men, or couples?
My practice centers women and teens. I don't take couples or family work at this time.
Do you treat addiction or anger management?
No. Those aren't areas I take on. If you're looking for that specific work, I'll happily point you toward colleagues who specialize in it.
How long will therapy take?
That depends on you. Some women come for a season around a specific transition. Others stay for longer, ongoing work. We check in regularly about what's helping and what isn't.
Is this the same as seeing a psychologist or psychiatrist?
I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor, not a psychologist and not a psychiatrist. I don't prescribe medication. If medication is part of what would help, I can coordinate with a prescribing provider.
What if I need to reach you between sessions?
Please don't send confidential health information through the website — it's not a secure channel. For anything urgent, or in an emergency, please call or text 988, or call 911.
